UFV. This class is an introductory photo class, so I can't see her being too harsh on us.

Ok well I went and searched around a bit.

Sony Alpha 200K - $593 w. tax futureshop. The guy said this was pretty good. Better than the Nikon D40. He said the main difference was that the Sony has the image stabilization feature. And it has way more mp. And it's only $29 more.

Going back to the Sony A200.. For $570 (free shipping) I can get this on ebay brand new:

Obviously a better deal than futureshop, plus it comes with all this extra stuff. I know you guys never listed this camera, but just wondering your thoughts vs. D40.

Canon XT - Found a few on ebay for around the same price with lens ($500). Actually there is a new one with 11 minutes left in the auction and its current price is only $363 (33 bids).

I thought about the D60, but I don't know if I want to spend that much now
