just a heads up, but i have flat (pronated) feet and the EE eased some of the pain from having the arch in the boot of my D vapors. actually, i even needed superfeet insoles to get some more of the support back because it felt too unsupportive with the wider boot.
as for the XXIIs, im mistaken- its only the XVIs that arent.
hope everythings going good with the boot fittings and hope you find the right fit
