I can't believe it took so long to get an offical thread.
This is an awesome show. It's pretty much all the way up there with Entourage.
Some fun interesting facts, did you know David Duchovny is a raelly really educated and smart guy?
- graduated from Princeton University
- Master's degree in English Literature from Yale University
-doctoral thesis was "Magic and Technology in Contemporary Poetry and Prose."
member of the Charter Club
-his poetry received an honorable mention for a college prize from the Academy of American Poets and the title of his senior thesis was The Schizophrenic Critique of Pure Reason in Beckett's Early Novels.
-junior varsity basketball, as a shooting guard, and two playing center field for the varsity baseball team.
Anyhoo
Dave plays pretty much of a duchebag writer. Bottom line, he gets laid a lot. The first eposide is a must see as its a setup for many eposides to come. There are a lot of funny scenes eg// puking, fooking, getting high, some girl exploding which someone was walking in.... each eposide has it's WTF moments.
Natascha McElhone is Dave's X-wife and their chemistry is just amazing, her eyes and her blonde hair just melts me each time i watch her. Evan Handler is the bald guy that came from sex and the city and MAN, if you make it thru the first 5 eposide, you'll wish you had his assistant (played by Rachel Miner).
it's in season two now and the story line is a bit interesting but it still revolves around a lot of sex, girls and the father daughter relationship.
entourage is all about the boys and making it big, californication is about the dad/ ex wife / daughter relationship + a lot of fucking.....
