washing your car in car wash place, drive out, enjoy frozen key slots....
the esso touchless carwash at the corner of w.broadway and burrard was open yesterday and today... i have to wash the car because i park on the street and it's covered with all the salt spray, sand and other crap thrown by passing cars. i'm too scared to use my snow brush now because i'm certain i'll scratch and ruin the paint

someone taught me that once you come out of the carwash place, spray wd40 or similar into the keyholes to keep moisture from freezing up in them. also using silicone spray lube on the door seals to keep the doors from freezing up in their jambs.
