Although I think the film was well done in showing the many paths which humans take in an attempt to explain all of that which surrounds us- to make sense of it all- I think he missed the one tool that allows others to see his point of view- that is to validate the views of the person who is talking- it allows them to see where you are coming from too- as a former Christian- I know what it feels like to be trapped in the "I am right and everyone else is gonna burn in hell thought process" Christians get angry- they feel threatened when their whole belief system is challenged. Christianity is exclusive- if I am honest and say, "My mind- my life doesn't allow me to believe the way Christians do.." Then I am doomed to burn in hell? I don't think so. Do your research- so many people have been slaughtered in the name of Christianity- even today. Anger is a sign of someone who refuses to see that this big world- all 6.5 billion of us believe differently- that's why I am a Buddhist- I believe that if you truly believe- that you are honest with yourself about what you believe- then you are right. Embrace the mystery. Dont be an angry Christian- just love- simply Love- THAT is truly the only religion that includes us all- everything else is simply about control- most Christians are simply being controled by their beliefs- their Pators- their Parents..that goes for other close minded controlling religions also. Love. I love you all. Now what could be wrong with that if I am truly a morally upstanding person?
