I watched religoulous - though it was amazing lol.
Another very good movie is Zeitgeist. The first 15 minutes or so discuss the origins just about every religion on the face of the earth, and they are all plagerized from one another.
For example.... Pretty much all gods - including jesus, are human representations of the "Sun God".
The 3 kings, they are the 3 stars of orions belt.
The star in the east is Sirius
The 12 deciples are the 12 zodiacs which the sun passes through.
And on december 25th, the sun, sirius, and the 3 kings all line up at sun RISE

This is the day of the birth of The sun god. But this happens every year... so why on the year of "0 AD" ? Because it was the begining of the new "Age" of Pieces. Next is aquarius. The bible misinterpretes these transitions as not the end of Aeons or Ages, but as the end of the world.
Then he is cruicified... on the day that the sun is near the constellation Crux - which is a perfect resemblance to the christian cross.
At which point he remains dead until he is resurrected 3 days later.. These 3 days represent the shorted period of the year, when the days are no longer getting shorter. After the 3 days, the sun begins to rise again.
... i can go on, but im doing this from memory and it may start to get inaccurate .... just watch Zeitgeist...
