^Really? I've always found it to be fine. I do, however, enjoy a bit of a darker base (READ: not salty though!) from these commercial pho joints, otherwise they turn out to be too watered down. I also enjoy eating my commercial pho spicy. That being said, I've had home made pho with relatively clear broth but broth was heavily infused with flavours. OMG, pho to die for! I need to go visit my aunt.
