Yeah, I love Canon P&Ss...my g/f bought herself a Pentax (told her not to), and 95% of the pictures were garbage. I took it back and bought her an SD1000 with the money...and they're amazing. The rest of my family's Canons have served us rather well too
I'm kinda bummed out about the no full manual option on the SD790 IS, but I guess I'll live. I played around with it today at Future Shop and it looks and feels nice
