PS: All pictures taken with my D90 with the 18-200 VR lens. Since it was a pretty nice day, most of the pictures were set at Auto WB, but I did play with Sunny and Cloudy settings for some of them. Also, I mixed around from using shutter priority, aperture priority and some manual as well.

I'd say the above image is your best one, as it tells a story. You're off to a good start. For wildlife photography, you generally need to get in close, so try to get in closer.
