Hi guys, confused newb here, please help. I'm looking to buy a quick, fun civicSI, either a 99-00 or 01-05. When I look up the specs i get US data, which says 160hp motor, either in a 1.6 or a 2.0L repesectivley. But I am informed that canadian si models in these years use the EX model motor that has only ~130Hp. If i want 160hp i need a canadian SIR???

Also combine this with all the yahoos that "convert" their car to "Si" and advertise as such makes this all very confusing.

In canada does the 01+ SIR ONLY come in hatch? No SIR coupe?

And a side question, which body style? I kinda like the look of the 01 hatch but im also told the 99-00 siR is the better car.
