I hate Bauer XXXX just for this. $225 my ass. It's great stick until you get the first chip on the toe. Once you get that, the blade deteriorates fast. I think I lost a whole 1/16 of the blade before I got a replacement for it.
Currently using a CCM U+. Chipped the toe in a game 2 -3 weeks ago. So far the chip hasn't spread.
