My good friend's grandmother passed away in 2000, around Chinese New Year's.
One day I woke up around 10AM, and called my then-girlfriend, and she told me about how much red pocket cash she got from relatives. I decided to go back to bed for a bit, and wondered where else to get cash from, and of course, thought of my friend's house (greedy I know).
So I went to bed, and during a dream, I was in my friend's kitchen table, and I saw his Grandpa and Grandma, and oddly, his Grandma talked to me at some length about something of which I couldn't recall.
Later that night, I talked to my friend and he said his Grandma had passed away at that exact time, and his family bugged me for awhile to try and remember what she'd said but I couldn't remember.
On a side note, I used to work on the organ transplant team at VGH, and would occasionally get called to work alone, in the middle of the night, in the morgue. I worked in the morgue at like 2AM on Halloween night as well as Friday 13th and was freaked as shit. To ease my fears, I brought a CD and blasted Guns n Roses. Nothing happened! haha!
