99-00 had the 160 hp B16 vtec motor while the EP3 had the 160 hp 2.0 base RSX motor.
EK is the better car as it has independant front and rear suspension while the EP3 got Mcstruts.

02-05 was Ep3, face lift @04-05. main difference is 5 bolt wheels and cosmetics.
160hp with the 2L k20a3... the seats are similar to the DC2-R seats.
