yeah i've only owned my eeepc1000 for ~ 7 months and the battery is already down to ~5:15 instead of 6-6:15hours on my 6cell.
This is with pretty low contrast, wifi on, SHE battery saving mode.
With wifi off i think i can still pull off a 7 hour though
