Personally, even though the SiR is older, it would still be my choice. I have a soft spot for those cars. Even being 10 years old now, they still look nice. Plus, it comes with a motor that has way more potenial. There are TONS of aftermarket goodies for that B16. It wouldn't take much to wake up that motor to a point where you'd be a bit more happy with it.
My g/f drives an '02 Si. Although a nice car, I don't think it's any nicer than an SiR. I'm not a huge fan of the styling, but to each their own. It's too bad the SiR didn't come the factory rims
