THUNDER BAY, Ont. - Vancouver Canuck Taylor Pyatt is on his way home to Thunder Bay, Ont., after his fiancee was killed in a car accident.
Carly Bragnalo was killed yesterday in a crash in Jamaica where she was on holidays.
Pyatt's family confirmed the death.
''Today the Canucks lost a member of our family,'' said Canucks general manager Mike Gillis. ''Carly was a lovely and generous young woman who shared her spirit for life with our players, their spouses and their extended families. We will support the Bragnalo family, Taylor and his entire family in any way we can during this very difficult time.''
The couple was to be married this summer.

Wow...my heart just sank for this dude. As a newlywed, I can't even begin to imagine what's going through his mind.
