Loved the 2004 OVA adaptation of this story. Now it's a TV series! Looks promising so far.

Apparently not a remake of the 70s super robot series...but seriously wtf. My mind is so blown..I totally don't get what's going on. ahahah random town gets destroyed, no one gets introduced, stuff just starts blowing up and weird robots ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh my head hurts
