Yuck? Why can't they buy some kind of food wrapping paper to wrap up the F+C? I don't want used newspapers or any newspapers for that matter touching my food! lol.
Even at my dad's place (which is a Chinese restaurant!) we don't use newspapers, we use paper boxes designed to hold food.
