GM started well, but ignored too many things, which cost them in the long run. Now they're belly up, but michael moore dude thinks instead of reviving to make cars again, we should make alternative energy stuff. the factories dont have to make alternative energy cars, they could also make windmills, solar powered stuff, etc. he sees the bankruptcy as a turning point in technology, and i guess the history of america.
america pioneered the automobile industry, now they're the first to fail really hard. so he thinks if they started a good thing once, with cars, they can start a good thing again, by being the first nation to be like super-not-relying-on-limited-resources
