Is it just me or does anyone else observe that the Sedin game only works when the opposing team is either tired or fatigued by a long shift, or a small team, or playing against 3rd line pluggers?
That's why AV has to line match to death. The Sedins are good players but they aren't the type to outplay any legitimate NHL team's top players without the considerations mentioned above.

They would if Gaborik was healthy all season long but odds of that are not very good. The line would also cost more then the Sedins leaving less money for other players. I've never said Gaborik wasn't a stud, he's one of the most talented and explosive players in the NHL but he's also one of the most injury prone ones as as well. Then again Havlat has been known to be made of glass and played a full season last season so I guess you never know.
I still say the best case scenario would be to somehow sign the Sedins and Gaborik. Sedin/Sedin/Burrows and Gaborik/Demitra/Kessler. It doesn't fix our puck moving Dman problem but it would bolster the offense even more and you'd have two great scoring lines.
