I'd say do it if you plan on keeping this comp awhile and plan on gaming alot on it.
Like I said before the total to run this game smoothly is easily $1500+. I don't know about you but even spending $1000 just to play one game seems a little ludicrous. That game is the benchmark game for PC.
Like others have said, get something worthwhile so you don't have to keep upgrading as soon as new software/games come out.
Computers are cheaper nowadays, but definately NOT cheap. It's cheap to buy a comp to check email and surf the internet. Far from cheap for video editting or gaming comps.
