you don't need an aftermarket HSF for a G31 board...the stock HSF can handle heat quite well up to 3ghz
E5200...o/c it @ 12.5x233 = 2.9ghz
if cman333's friend wants some decent speed, spend another $20 on a EP45 board....4.0ghz ftw
