Well, since it's two computers we're talking about here, I would recommend not buying people's spare parts (unless they have two of everything) because it would probably be nice to have two computers with the same hardware... makes troubleshooting and repairing easier in the future.
I would recommend getting the cheapest motherboard and the cheapest dual core CPU and 2GB RAM.
