Well, you see... they start races with shitloads of fuel and only pit to change tires.
actually I think the ban on in-race refuelling sucks. It takes out an element of strategy (think of how today's race would have been different without pitstops!) It might be a cost issue - fewer people in the pit and all that. It's certainly a safety issue.
Since the ban is fully in effect next year, I sure hope that the aerodynamics working group gets their shit together and is able to figure out the dirty air issue. Unlikely, but we can always hope.
