umm single target wise both are pretty equal. if anything pallies have more avoidance than druids.
healing is also debatable. holy pallies bring ALOT to a raid. resto druids can basically do it except provide an outside cooldown.
geared ret pallies can do AMAZING single target DPS. my buddy plays a ret pally, he can do something like 7-8k DPS.
feral druids are broken as ever, so cat dips a good choice too.
moonkin dps is alright. too much RNG involved

pvp wise, it depends what you wanna do. both are awesome for pvp. any spec. except moonkin, moonkin pvp is a joke
