That'll run just fine.
The AMD won't be a huge difference compared to E5200 for the tasks listed. If the total becomes more expensive then no point getting them.
Why did you spring for the G45-based board, though? The E5200 + that board is more expensive than the AMD bundle that NCIX has, here:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...s&promoid=1187 Even picking up a G31-based motherboard, which has the GMA3100 GPU on board, is more than enough and shaves ~$20 off the price of the system.
If you're not O/Cing the E5200, the 7550 is as fast as the Intel. Both processors are fast enough to fulfill most needs, and since your friend seems to be a very light user, she'll be fine. The AMD X2 7750 BE (unlocked multiplier, very easy O/C - most users achieve ~3ghz stable on stock cooler with just raising multiplier) is cheaper than the E5200, and you can pick up cheap AM2+/AM3 motherboards too.
