Nope. Leg presses isolate your quads and squats works a larger portion of your body. The squat will work your body harder and generate a better hormonal profile based on that work. I generally don't like leg presses because it doesn't force me to stabilize any kind of weight, it's much much easier then a squat, and it breaks the natural movement links between the lower body and the upper body.
Anyhow, leg presses have their place, but they are not equal to the squat.
