Problem solved.
My parents went around town today to Coast Appliances, Trail Appliances, and Future Shop (Ugh!) Turns out, after some hardcore Chinese bargaining and sleuth price-matching with all three retailers, Future Shop gave the best deal. They did a price-match plus additional 10% off, free delivery, installation and pickup/recycle of our old appliances,
and a $100 Future Shop gift card. Not bad!
