Acer is garbage owned both aspire and lamborghini line notebooks.
-BOTH had the defective ribbon cable to LCD problem (renders notebooks useless)
The Aspire cameback with the little pin that turns off the backlight when you close the lid BROKEN OFF (wtf they would not take responsibility)
-Both had extreme chassis flex
-the aspire had extreme heatproblems like 80+ gpu temps on a 7600 IDLE. which caused the motherboard to die a month after the ribbon cable was fixed.
-acer was an extreme pain in the ass to deal with, they made me use fedex and then pay for the extras like tracking signature etc ($45 each time)
avoid acer at all costs!!!!!
dell, hp, asus all have better customer service and quality.
