Only because I do infact sell and repairs with dells on a daily basis... The reason why I recommend is because of their warranty.. Product wise it would be the same as any other notebook... The build quality of my current Dell XPS is garbage, oh and it runs like a heap of shit; Also, Windows Live messenger sucks balls. And by that I mean there are better chat programs out there for Mac, ones that don't fail.
