Pre-season tickets on sale Friday September 4Canucks kick off 2009-10 pre-season at home versus OilersWednesday, 09.02.2009 / 1:02 PM / News Vancouver CanucksVancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that pre-season tickets for the 2009-10 season will go on sale Friday, September 4th at 10:00 a.m. for home games versus the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks. Tickets will be available on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca/canucks, or by phone at 604-280-4400.

The Canucks pre-season home opener will begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 versus Northwest Division rival, the Edmonton Oilers, and will provide fans a first look at the 2009-10 edition of the Canucks.

A family friendly ticket special is available for the pre-season. With the purchase of one pre-season ticket, fans can buy a second ticket at a special kid’s rate for a child under the age of 12. A Labour Day weekend special will also be available wherein fans purchasing pre-season tickets from Sept. 4-7 will receive a password for the opportunity to purchase tickets to a regular season game before they go on sale to the general public.

Additionally, throughout the pre-season, fans in attendance will have the opportunity to meet a select number of Canucks prospects at an autograph signing session inside General Motors Place between 6:00 and 6:45 PM each pre-season game night.

The Canucks nine game pre-season schedule is listed below. All four Canucks home pre-season games will begin at 7:00 p.m.
