Option, especially the Sansalone boards were built in Vancouver. The nose and tail [underneath the topsheet] had fillers. It's an ABS type material to protect the wood core. Its not going to be a problem with that.

But if you do have concerns, 2 part epoxy will fill that up. It's the same adhesive that the boards were pressed with anyways.
