Players like Dave Andreychuk was forced to retire because he just couldn't keep up with the speed of the new NHL. Joe Sakic pretty much said the same thing when he retired this offseason.
But that being said, I still like Wellwood a lot because he is just that talented of a hockey player. But if he doesn't change a few things, he will be forever stuck on teh second/third line.

I think it is more of a 3rd/4th line thing.. Not even a top 6 forward unless he gets it really together.
