plus for people just getting into it, the first time you buy a GT game... you shit bricks. I'm talking enough bricks to build a small African village on one of those mission trips. At least that's the way it was for me anyways, it was nuts.
When we got GT2 for the PSX my brother and I were still fairly young so we knew nothing about what cars were good when there were so many to choose from, so we asked our dad. It was the only video game my dad ever played for more than one round and after he helped us pick out a black 300ZX we worked through getting the licenses and racing for hours, to the point where my non-gaming dad was staying up late at night to get the next license and beat some challenges and such. It's still the only console racing game I ever bothered to use a manual tranny with. I can't wait for GT5 to come out so I can race my dad and brother online
