D16Z6 came stock from Del Sol Si, which is quite a bit cheaper than the VTEC version with B16
Del Sol Si have disc brakes while Civic hatches doesn't
Stock internal + APR head studs supposed to be able to hold turbo very well that people have done 3-400 whp with it... if you have all supporting mods and good turbo setup...
If you blow the engine you can find one cheaply and don't have to rebuild the whole thing again
