No, what I am talking about is changing the container from MKV to MPG. The audio and video are untouched, so no quality is lost, no CPU cycles (and power) are wasted, and no time is wasted. Instead, everything is kept intact, 100% original quality, in just a few seconds. Yes it's an extra step, but a very short one and totally worth it in the end. This is the better way to do things, I thought I would share.
