Make your budget and spend more on=

-gloves, cold wet hands can ruin your day since you may be spending more time picking yourself up from the cold wet snow.

-pants, a cold wet ass is never fun, since you'll be spending time sitting on the cold wet snow, and cold wet chair lifts.

-goggles/eye protection, what you can't see you'll run into, that will deffly ruin your day if you hit something solid.

-thermals, beleive it or not, you can stay drier in synthetics or polyester as it has more breathability than natural fibers [except wool]

- socks and boots. THINNER IS BETTER. the warmth of your feet depend on blood flow, if you have thicker socks it will be colder to your toes than thinner socks, since you need to have a pocket of warmth around your toes. And the only way to warm your toes is with proper blood flow.

And that's pretty much it.

You can kit yourself up for UNDER a 1000. Used and consignment is good.
mm thanks
