Yes, you must be more knowledgable than Honda.

Maintenance manual States:
Non-severe service = Every 192,000km
Severe Service = Every 96,000km.

'Your friend's JDM tranny doesn't work cold". That's nice.

My transmission shifts just fine, even at -20C startups. A transmission is a closed system. The fluid simply has to lubricate gears. This is unlike engine oil, which has to deal with extreme temperatures, and contaminants.
