unlock your taskbar, then right click it a new thing should be on it, view small icons. this should fix it.
mine looks exactly like 98 now. oh you have to actually create a quicklaunch bar first. u can do little things like remove the name so it takes up less room.

well i've already gotten "used" to the start menu, but the task bar, i can never get used to this style. i never even got used to XP/Vista whatever style. I NEVER used anything other than classic mode
i'm such a dinosaur.
now i have a question, what the fuck is the point of pinning things to your taskbar? all my stuff is in my quicklaunch, which is 1 click away anyways.
for those of you wanting your MSN to show up in your system tray instead of your task bar, just find the original EXE and run it on compatibility mode with vista.
