norton (basically symantec) - big resource hog
i still think nod32 is the best, kaspersky would be next on my list, but it's still a little too intensive for my liking
i'll wait to see what ppl say about the MS software, i've installed hundreds of copies of nod32 on machines and so far none have come back with a virus problem
u have to take the opinions from a tech-savvy user with a grain of salt. we know or have a pretty good idea about what to click on, what not to click on, and what files are ok to run. the real test comes when u install anti-virus on a computer used by someone completely computer-illiterate. think QQ, PPSLive, all that china junk with all options enabled.
