I don't think it can see 120Hz. You can't even see 60Hz too well because that's what lightbulbs run at and a proper working one can't be seen flickering. I think 120Hz is just a nice doubling to be sure you have everything covered, 240Hz will take care of any mutant children with crazy eyes in future generations.
The only 120Hz TV I've watched though, made the movie look like crap. It sort of looked like it does in those "behind the scenes" bits where they show the guy running around on the set and its just doesn't look the same, it looked really fake and made me feel like I was there watching the guys running around on a set, and not actually where they were supposed to be in the story. Is it always like that?
