A full face isn't necessary since it might hamper your peripheral vision. Really the only people that use full face are snowX racers
A skateboard helmet is essentially a snowboard helmet since it doesn't have the winter foamie stuff or the ear covers. A snowboard helmet has less vents, if not closing vents to prevent head chill.
There are many helmet liners and helmet beanies that you can buy to cover your head if you need more warmth.
As for body protection? Look at Dainese, Alpinestars, Crashpadz, and any bicycle shop as they usually sell body protection that won't hamper your movement. Bear in mind that you do have to consider your outerware since it may not fit over what you are wearing. Unless you like it ghetto gangsta
