They're human, not machines. I'm sure you consider yourself a "professional" in whatever you do for a living, but I'm also pretty sure that you're not always motivated in your job either.
Our game-breaker is Luongo. Remember the Crow-WCE days? Sure we scored a lot of goals, but Cloutier was a sieve when it counted. Does anyone want a return to those days? I sure don't.
For those that remember the Pavel Bure-Quinn years, those teams largely underachieved considering the talent we had. We made it to the finals only once when really, we should have gone 3- rounds deep in 3 or 4 seasons. We're only 20 games into the season - they haven't been great, but they haven't been really bad. Let's keep things in perspective.
