I had a pitbull for 10 years,I currently have another bully breed,most of my friends have pitbulls too.They can be a handfull.
If the dog throws a temper tantrum,grab it by the ruff and slam him down onto his back,hold him there until he is calm,them release.
use a choke collar,learn how to use it properly and also the correct way to put it on.It will work well on stopping him from pulling.
one last thing,male pitbulls are very dominant,they will constantly challenge you for the spot of alpha role.Don't show him you a weak,make sure your the alpha.
