My MX700 duo is still kicking after more than 7years. The 2 rechargeable AA battery doesn't hold charge too well anymore (need to recharge every 2 days), but you can easily replace them if you want to.

hm...found Performance MX for $100, and MX revolution for $65

$100 for a mouse still sounds a lot tho when my computer costs less than $300.
