If ur that worried about it buy some dog repellent. I bought some(was only $20 at Husky) and carry it with me all the time with my dog or without. I paid my friend $25 to spray him with it and he wanted me to take him to the hospital after lol.
If for some reason my dog attacked urs and u stab my dog to death, u better keep that knife in ur hand cuz ur gonna need it. where as if u sprayed my dog it would teach him a lesson and i still prob wouldnt be too happy but ide understand. Also if some big rottweiller or mastiff is attacking u, and or ur dog it is gonna be extremely hard to stab him without u getting fucked up in the process, also with 2 dogs going nuts u have the chance of stabbing ur own dog. Where as with the spray u can be metres away where ur safe and if ur dog does get sprayed he wont be seriously hurt and will be ok in an hour, compared to having a big wound and a bigger vet bill, or worse dead.
