underscore, the current tv is just okay right now. Bulbs need to be cleaned and re-aligned, picture quality is marginally decent. It was top of the line Panasonic 10 years ago. At this point, I'd rather watch a movie in HD on my 19" monitor.lol.
I'm at the same job so there's no probation to consider and while I was off, I took some insurance courses to work at my friend's new brokerage. The plan is to ride it out with my current job and build up my clientel with insurance til I can dedicate 100% of my time on it. There's no way I'd spend $4k on my system and sell it.... unless it's to upgrade.
Thanks for the heads up on cables. I'll probably end up buying a stand/bench directly below the tv.
I might wait for boxing day but do you really think 60"+ will go on sale?
Any of you guys think that LG I posted is any good?

nope, hardly if any
the trend seems to be sitting at 52" right now. 55" and 58" takes a big jump just for those small differences. 60" plus still sitting at a outrageous price tag
