I think they wanted to add the damage modeling during production of the game because of Forza. I believe that is correct, all the cars and stuff were done quite a while ago it's the damage that's taking forever. Which is gonna be nuts because yeah damage is cool when it's cookie cutter like that it loses its edge after you've crumpled your car the exact same way a million times.
