Nah, you have to tell them you are quitting or you won't get the special transfer to the "loyalty department". I tried the nice guy routine first saying how their competitors had better offers and asked them to match it. The counter-offer they gave me was $73 for the plan I wanted and that was the "best they can do", a few calls later with the threat of me cancelling I got transfered to loyalty and got the exact same plan for $48.
