you may not have to tell him anything but you can teach him commands like a "walk" command or "easy" and because he's tired he will be doing it, therefore you praise. As the pup hears these in the quick 5 min training session he will learn them, then start incorporating them into your walks. You need to teach the dog English first then you can use it to communicate.
